Our priority at Northern Rivers Denture Clinic is for you to enjoy comfortable, well-fitting and functional dentures that let you smile with confidence.
We created this personal satisfaction guarantee so you can proceed on your denture journey reassured that we stand by our hand-crafted work 100%. If you're not satisfied, it's our problem — and we commit to resolving it.
Our personal satisfaction guarantee means we defer to our patients the sole and unilateral discretion as to whether the denture they are purchasing is acceptable within the parameters set out below.
We pledge the dentures we create for you will be:

Due to the nature of the denture-making process, there are two distinct phases of manufacture to consider. First, and always paramount, is the fit, comfort and functionality of the denture. Second is the aesthetic factor — how the denture impacts your appearance, including the colour and shape of the teeth and the overall look of your face.
Our personal satisfaction guarantee protects you without question when it comes to fit, comfort and functionality. Issues like sore spots, rubbing or incorrect fit are not uncommon with new dentures as your face and mouth adapt. Your prosthetist will adjust your dentures as many times as it takes to achieve normal chewing, eating and speaking without discomfort.
If your denture hurts because it's rubbing or doesn't fit correctly, we guarantee to fix it.
Occasionally, despite every precaution being taken and through no fault of yours or your prosthetist, things don't go to plan. There are rare cases that simply can't be foreseen, and this is where having a satisfaction guarantee is invaluable.
For example, accurate bite registration — how your upper and lower teeth meet — can be difficult to achieve if a patient is unknowingly tense during impressions, or hasn't had teeth for some time. If the result is a denture that can't be adjusted to sit comfortably, we guarantee to make you a new one with minimal fuss. The one exception is where a patient has insisted on changes that oppose the professional advice of our prosthetists.

Beyond fit and function, how a patient's new dentures look is inherently subjective — governed by personal perception. This makes aesthetics a separate and important consideration within our guarantee.
It's not uncommon for patients to feel uncertain or indecisive about their denture's appearance. Looks are personal, and patient expectations don't always align with what is clinically possible or appropriate. In some cases, a new denture can have a pleasantly rejuvenating effect — ironing out lip wrinkles and filling out the cheeks, particularly where teeth have been absent for some time. However, there is a point at which pushing further would compromise fit and function. Tooth colour and shape can also be a source of indecision. Our prosthetists are always happy to guide and advise you through these choices.
Because appearance matters so much, we offer every patient the opportunity to see how their new denture will look before it's finalised.
At the try-in appointment, your prosthetist fits you with a preliminary wax version of the denture — complete with your chosen teeth — so you can see exactly how the finished result will look and request any changes at that stage.
Keep in mind that new dentures often look and feel quite full initially, until your facial muscles adjust.

At the try-in stage, we ask you to sign a confirmation statement indicating your satisfaction with the denture's appearance. We then offer a 24-hour grace period so you can take time to reflect before your choices become final and we commence the finished denture.
If you'd like, we're happy to photograph the try-in on your phone so you can consider your options at home, seek the opinion of friends or family, and avoid any pressure to decide on the spot. If you'd like to make changes, simply call us before the 24-hour period expires to arrange an appointment.
We'll make modifications at any stage of the manufacturing process, including after completion. However, once you have signed the confirmation statement approving the aesthetics at the try-in stage, further changes will incur additional fees.
This guarantee covers your satisfaction with fit, comfort and aesthetics during your adjustment period. For details on materials, workmanship and longer-term coverage, please see our Denture Warranty — it works alongside this guarantee to give you full confidence in your investment.

We believe in informed decisions. That's why we offer free 30-minute consultations to all our patients, new and existing. During this no-pressure appointment, we'll discuss your denture needs and goals, provide a personalised treatment plan and clear cost estimate, with no obligation to proceed. We want you to feel comfortable and empowered.
